Top 10 Tips For Programmers

When you start programming then you must take care of the following points:

1. Set your goal and make estimates : It happens many times that we start designing and writing our applicationwithout setting our goals. After the release of application some problems may occur like out of memory problem, performance issues, scaling etc. Try to make an estimate to avoid these problems in advance.

2. Human readable code : A programmer should make human readable code. For a complier it does not matter if you use a single letter identifiers or a more human readable identifiers, if you write optimized expression or more human readable simple expressions. Compiler does not take long time to compile longer identifiers.

3. Write small routines : In past few years, methods are made much smaller. Methods are small enough to accomplish a task and can be understood in a short time. Long methods are difficult to understand, debug and maintain. These long methods are difficult to test.
4. Avoid premature optimization : Sometimes programmer thinks that the clever code is difficult to reador to comprehend. Programmer should write their code clearly and cleanly. After that they should find out where the bottlenecks are and optimize them.

5. Try to avoid global variable : Global variables are made once and can be used in all methods. These are v isible to everywhere. This is a great feature as well as worst too. A programmer has no control, that who is changing or accessing the variable. Local variables provide more control over the program.
6. Try to avoid looping problem : Sometimes loop index is incremented irregularly. That’s why a loop is traversed an incorrect number of time. Some times one may forget that an array may be zero based and some time one based. To avoid such problem, some programming languages are providing for…each loop. Programmers can use functional programming technique called “Map” to avoid this problem.

7. Handle exceptions : Many languages use an exception system. These languages use the keywordslike throw, try, catch, finally etc. Exceptions have the ability to unwind the stack, automatically returning from nested routines until the exception is trapped and dealt with. Programmers should be clear to the type of exception they catch.

8. Validate user input : Earlier our input validations were limited to number validations, date validation, text validation etc. Malicious users could enter data into your program to take control over your applicationor your server. The most famous is SQL injections and XSS attacks. So validate your application for all type of possible hacker input also.

9. Be up to date with technologies : Programmers should try to be knowledgeable and should maintain their expertise. They should learn about new techniques. New techniques, that are of equal or greater importance.

10. Write documentation : Try to write more and more comments or explanation for our code. Documentation will help you and others to understand your code. But do not store secret information like password etc in your application.

School Bans Skirts

Mizoram cops blame sex tapes for sex crimes

Mizoram government has banned to wear short skirts to girls and low waist paints to boys in school. In the circular issued for state schools on Tuesday, short skirts and low waist  paints have been banned.
The student violating this order will be fined Rs 300 firstly and then being found on further violation of the rule the fine may be Rs.500.
The student may be dismissed from the school if found violating the rule third time. The rule has been implemented in all the  schools whether it is public or private  from primary to higher secondary classes.
Mizoram
The state’s top student organization Mizo Jirlai Paul (MJP) has shown concern regarding the short skirts and low waist paints in schools, they have requested the government to implement an idol dress code. After the request government decided to ban the short skirts and low waist paints in the schools.
Government order states that the skirt should be such that, it should touch the knee. Also girls are not allowed to keep their hairs colored or short. Boys are stated that they should not keep their hair spread and should not use gel.

Fairly permissive Mizoram had been wondering why 'mainland malaise' such as rape and pedophilia were stalking the highlanders. The police have found an answer – sex videos – after an influential students' body blamed it on 'sexy' school dresses. Finding a pattern to rapes in Mizoram, the police in

this northeastern state discovered that most men caught on charges of rape were aged 40 years or above. And a majority of their victims were girls aged 10-15 years.
"Convicted rapists and others caught on charges of sexually assaulting young girls and minors confessed they watched sex videos before striking," said Aizawl superintendent of police Lalbiakthanga Khaingte.

The study also revealed that 30.2% victims were in the 10-15 age group, 20.3% in the 5-10 age group and 18.3% aged between 15 and 20 years.

The findings followed a rally by the Mizo Hmeichhe Insuihkhawm Pawl (MHIP) last week to condemn the increasing rate of crimes against women in Mizoram. MHIP is Mizoram's apex body of women.

"We have been seeking stringent laws to check rapes, murders and other crimes against women," said MHIP president Lalthlamuani. "The most disturbing trend in Mizoram is the rape and murder of minors."

A 5-year-old girl was raped and murdered in Aizawl on November 11. A similar case was reported elsewhere in the state on October 18.

According to the Mizo Zirlai Pawl (MZP) or Mizo Students' Union, the government's lethargy in implementing strict dress codes in educational institutions has been 'encouraging' sexual attacks.

Mizoram's school education department had earlier this year formed the Committee on Indecent School Dress and Hairstyle after the MZP demanded a ban on underwear-showing low-slung trousers and micro mini skirts in schools and colleges.

"But the government is yet to issue orders to the schools to ensure a decent dress code," MZP president Khraws Hmehova told HT from Aizawl on Monday. He added the MZP was mobilizing its units for implementing strict social codes aimed at checking involuntary sex and punishing men who cross the line.

Why didn't Tulsidas mention Ram temple demolition?

Sources:

http://in.news.yahoo.com/43/20101004/812/tnl-why-didn-t-tulsidas-mention-ram-temp.html

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/topic/article/01ARfXDfKBcLp?q=babri+masjid

New Delhi, Oct 4 (IANS) Was legendary poet Tulsidas, who wrote 'Ram Charit Manas' in the 16th century, so scared of Mughal emperor Akbar that he did not mention the demolition of a Ram temple in Ayodhya and the construction of the Babri mosque thereupon in his work?
'If a temple standing on the premises in dispute had been demolished and a mosque had been constructed thereupon less than 50 years before Tulsi Das wrote 'Ram Charit Manas' at Ayodhya, there was no reason for not mentioning the said fact by him in his famous book,' Justice S.U. Khan of the Allahabad High Court said in his judgment on the Babri Masjid-Ramjanmabhoomi title suits Sep 30.
Justice Khan made this observation while rejecting the contention of several counsel appearing for different Hindu parties on this count.
These counsel had tried to explain this vital omission - no mention of the demolition of Ram's temple and construction of the mosque at the site - on the ground that Tulsidas feared emperor Akbar would not like it and cause him harm if he mentioned it.
But Justice Khan said such a wild accusation against a poet of such repute and calibre as Tulsidas was rather unpalatable even to non-Hindus.
Moreover, Justice Khan says Tulsidas had given up all the comforts of life and had virtually renounced the world by separating himself from his wife for writing 'Ram Charit Manas' at Ayodhya. The work is considered the common man's Ramayana.
'A poet in such a situation and of such calibre is not expected to be fearful in writing the truth,' said Justice Khan.
It was during the reign of emperor Akbar (1556-1605) that Tulsidas (1532-1623) wrote 'Ram Charit Manas' from 1574 to 1577 in Awadhi, which was the common man's language at that time.
Justice Khan said: 'Even if it is assumed that the mosque was subsequently constructed by Aurangzeb, still Tulsidas should have mentioned in 'Ram Charit Manas' that a specific small piece of land measuring 1,500 square yards or a temple standing on such a site was birthplace of Lord Ram.
'Symbolism and similes are two most essential, handy tools of poetry. Accordingly, if not directly then at least symbolically or in similes some indication could have been given by Tulsidas regarding the premises in dispute to be the birthplace of Lord Ram and demolition of the temple,' underlined Justice Khan.
Further disagreeing with the counsel of Hindu parties, Justice Khan said: 'Apart from (its) religious importance, 'Ram Charit Manas' has got great poetical value. Poetry is basically flight of imagination' and this could not be subjected to any fear.'
Elaboratin, Justice Khan said: 'Wealth and fear are two great retarding gravitational forces for flight of imagination. No wealthy or fearful person has composed great poetry.'
However, he said, this principle does not apply to prose writers. Leo Tolstoy who wrote 'War and Peace', the best novel of the world, was a feudal lord of Russia of considerable wealth and position.

AB+ve Blood Type

People with blood type AB are hard to categorize. They can have characteristics on both ends of the spectrum at the same time. For instance, they are both shy and outgoing. They easily switch from one opposite to another. AB people are trustworthy and responsible, but can't handle it when too much is asked of them. They don't mind doing favors or helping out, as long as its on their own conditions. People with this blood type are interested in art and metaphysics.

AB is considered the worst blood type. In predictability-loving Japan, they're loose cannons. They also like to set their own conditions and reserve the right to drop out when things don't meet their expectations. They're known to be sensitive and considerate—at times—but it just isn't enough to balance out the flaws in this blood type. For a while, some companies tried dividing their employees into work groups based on blood type, and no one wanted to work with the AB group. Anime villains are likely to be type AB.

Uchiha Sasuke, Hongo Yui, Tomo, Trowa Barton, Kenshin

A is most compatible with A and AB.

B is most compatible with B and AB.

AB is most compatible with AB, B, A, and O.

O is most compatible with O and AB.

B+ve Blood

Type B is creative and excitable;

Type B "Active"

Population
Roughly 9% of the world is B +ve and 2% B -ve.

Traits
Cheerful, Optimistic, Active, Sensitive, Kind, Forgetful, unorganized, Noisy, Egocentric

Energetic and have the drive to reach towards goals. May be workaholics. Not the best team players and are individualistic. Do things at one's own pace. Strong personality adventurous. Likes to get one's own way. Are Sociable and enjoy entertaining.

Like to touch or be touched by others.

According to a Japanese institute that does research on blood types, there are certain personality traits that seem to match up with certain blood types. How do you rate? TYPE B
You're a rugged individualist, who's straightforward and likes to do things your own way. Creative and flexible, you adapt easily to any situation. But your insistence on being independent can sometimes go too far and become a weakness.

Personality Traits By Blood Type - A Japanese Concept

Guest Author - Melanie Shintaku

Type B:
Goal oriented and strong minded, type B's will start a task and continue it until completed, and completed well. Type B's are the individualists of the blood group categories and find their own way in life.

TYPE B'
Blood Type B's often described themselves in ways related to the following characteristics: subjective, easygoing, creative, original and flexible. In another study, Type B's scored significantly higher on "intuiting," indicating a preference or sixth sense information; and they scored high on the "intuiting/feeling" combination, indicating that they tend to be insightful, mystical, idealistic, creative, globally-oriented, people-oriented and good at imagining. They also reported that they learned best through listening, then reflecting on and interpreting what they had observed. Perhaps the nomadic life of the steppes contributed to long hours given over to talk as well as ample time for meditation and reflection. Type B's can be very goal-oriented and often complete the ambitious tasks set before them. Outgoing and very charming, you’re good at reading people and providing support. Though critical of appearance (but not your own), you aren’t picky and are unlikely to dwell over the little things.
Type Bs are impulsive individualists who often create their own path in life. You are very strong and optimistic. B is most compatible with B and AB lovers. Common

Blood type B individuals tend to be balanced: thoughtful like A's and yet ambitious like O's. They are empathetic, easily understanding others' points of view, yet often hesitating to challenge or confront. Flexible, they make good friends.

If you find one AB for a friend, consider yourself lucky! Youll enjoy some exciting times together! Sometimes it is difficult to be with an AB.
Note: B is most compatible with B and AB lovers

People with blood type B are the most practical of the blood groups. They are specialists in what they do. When they start a project, they spend extra time understanding and trying to follow directions than others might. When they are doing something, all of their attention is focused on it. They tend to stick to a goal and follow it through to the end, even if it seems impossible. They tend to be less than cooperative, as they like to follow their own rules and their own ideas. They are individualists. B type people pay attention to their thoughts a little more than their feelings, and therefore can sometimes seem cold and serious.

People with blood type B are often considered more relaxed, freewheeling, and unconventional than other types, although not necessarily to an unacceptable degree. In anime, the genki, off-the-wall types are type B, along with any kind of well-intended character who's ruled by their impulses.
